Regional Technical Manager - AquaCulture
These are the tasks we trust in you:
Demonstrate aquaculture expertise by using technical competency and relevant practical experience from the field to support and contribute to BIOMIN aquaculture business within the region
Problem-solving and addressing customers‘ needs and concerns with regard to farm operations and application of BIOMIN products as solutions
Work closely with the sales force and local Technical Sales Managers from BIOMIN business units and distribution networks across Asia
Support aquaculture trials and research by developing trial protocols and conducting data analysis
Monitor and collate aquaculture production figures and market information within the region
Sensitive to new or changing market trends or focus within the industry
Position BIOMIN as a preferred supplier of feed additives within the aquaculture industry in Asia
Interact and build working relationships with academics, key opinion leaders and other members of the scientific community worldwide
Work with Key Account Managers to implementing BIOMIN’s KAM strategy within the region
To leave real 'foodprints' with us you need the following skills:
Recognized Degree in Aquaculture / Animal Science / Marine Biology
Extensive experience in the Shrimp farming markets in Asia
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Good presentation skills
Ability to demonstrate effective persuasiveness with customers
Willingness to travel in Asia within short notice
Willingness to be based in Bangkok or other locations in Asia
Fluent in English and preferably another Asian language
