Quality Control Associate
These are the tasks we trust in you:
Defines activities, processes and quality criteria for the product to fulfill the quality requirements
Tests products to ensure orders are in compliance with Group & customer quality requirements
Performs analyses of the final product and reports non-conforming products to the Quality Manager that production can improve or re-work the product
Validates product batches and issues certificates to show that the quality norms are fulfilled
Oversees final product quality inspection, identifies on-going quality issues, preventing potential production issues and making suggestions for improvement
Supports a new product launch by performing analyses, by setting quality criteria and by releasing the product
Develops quality control methods which are necessary to test the product quality criteria
Documents quality issues and performance measures for management review for further action
Maintains the lab area according to 5S standard to ensure an efficient and effective workplace
Maintains and initiates repairs of the equipment according to the maintenance database and treats the equipment according to the manuals and instructions in order to keep the equipment under good functional condition
Trains and develops new staff to reach the required qualification level to do the job
Documents of all activities according to good documentation practice to comply to internal and ISO standards
Documents all use of the relevant chemicals to comply with regulations on waste management incl. hazardous waste management
Collection and maintaining of data including using control charts for quality control purposes
To leave real 'foodprints' with us you need the following skills:
Strong attention to detail
Ability to read/revise SOP’s
Computer skills (Microsoft Office);
Control Charting experience preferred.
Use of basic lab equipment (pipettes, scales, etc.)
Follow ISO 9001 guidelines for documentation
Strong communication skills
Ability to effectively multi-task
1-2 years of experience in Quality Control preferred.
Two-year degree in technical field (Biology, Analytical Science, etc.)
